What is an Ery?

I get asked about the Ery line quite a bit. Since it's a fairly new gene in the hobby, many people don't know what it is, or how it works. The Erythristic gene is a gene that originates from some extreme Flames, and has been selectively bred to bring out the red pigments, or Chromatophores in Florida King Snakes. The gene is very strong, and will enhance red colors even in the first year of offspring. It is not a simple recessive trait so no need to raise up hets. The gene in my experience acts exactly like the sulfur or HX gene which increases yellow. The two genes seem to be compatible so breeding an Ery to an HX will result in very increased colors in the offspring in the first generation.
All of my Ery projects trace back to my main Erythristic stud which I call the Iceman.
He is an Ice which is Ery and Anery which creates a very white looking snake as the Anery erases the red from the Ery, and results in a two gene combination morph we call Ice! Below are a couple of photos of my male Ice for reference only He is not for sale....

Female Anery from the Erythristic line

These female were produced by breeding my male Ice (Ery/ Anery) to a female Pumkin Hypo het Anery. These girls carry the Ery gene plus are 100% het Hypo, and have a possibility of being het Lavender as well. If you have any males from my Ery line these girls will be a perfect match up. These will continue to lighten up as they mature. I am holding back a male for myself.
These are $200 each plus shipping!

These babies were produced by breeding my female Pink Pearl (Lavender/Axanthic) with a male High Yellow het Axanthic male
So these babies are 100% het for Axanthic, and Lavender with influence from the high yellow line. These should make some very pretty adults, and make some pretty babies as well. The babies can be high yellow normals or Axanthic, Lavenders and Pink Pearls.

Erythristic line

Photos coming soon

This last section is basically what I would call an add on section.
They are priced very reasonably to sell quickly, but the cost of shipping makes them not affordable to most people.
So if you are already purchasing something these are great little add ons that can be tossed into your box at a very minimal price!

Pale X Ice

These are a product of breeding my female Pale morph with my male Iceman (Erythristic/Anery with Lavender and Hypo hets)

Het Stripe Corns $20 to $30 each!

These babies are all 100% het for the classic stripe gene, and are mostly Normals, and Hypos. The Normals are $20, and the Hypos are $30. I have both sexes available.
Mom was a striped morph with hets, and Dad was a Hypo with hets Both seem to have the Anery gene for sure since there is one Anery, and one ghost
